THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PUEBLO HAS ISSUED A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 11 PM THIS EVENING TO 5 PM MST THURSDAY.

* LOCATION...THIS ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT FOR SOUTHERN EL PASO COUNTY...EASTERN FREMONT COUNTY...AND PUEBLO COUNTY BELOW 6300 FEET...INCLUDING PUEBLO AND COLORADO SPRINGS.

* CAUSE AND TIMING...SNOW WILL DEVELOP ACROSS THE REGION BY THIS EVENING...AND CONTINUE THROUGH THURSDAY. THE HEAVIEST SNOW IS EXPECTED TO FALL TONIGHT THROUGH WEDNESDAY MORNING.

* SNOW ACCUMULATION...TOTAL SNOWFALL ACCUMULATIONS OF 4 TO 7 INCHES IS EXPECTED...WITH LOWER AMOUNTS OF 1 TO 3 INCHES ACROSS NORTHERN PUEBLO COUNTY AND EXTREME SOUTHERN EL PASO COUNTY.
