This oversized calculator covered in white fur will be delivered to Republican gubernatorial candidate Scott McInnis, as a means of commemorating the newly clean-shaven conservative's "fuzzy math."
"We believe McInnis is being disingenuous on the budget and other critical issues," ProgressNow Colorado Founder Michael Huttner stated in a press release. "He continues to take cheap shots but refuses to give specifics as to what he'd do instead. We are delivering an oversized fuzzy calculator to help him sort out his fuzzy math."
In other words, the group wants McInnis to put up or shut up: Either tell the public how he'd solve the state budget shortfall (presumably waiting for God to hand him $1 billion is not an option), or stop criticizing how the Democrat-controlled state Legislature and Gov. Bill Ritter are handling the issue.
No word yet on whether McInnis plans take up a hot glue gun and fire back.
