Porter party

Posted By on Thu, Jan 21, 2010 at 10:57 AM

For the third year in a row, Bristol Brewing Co. — in conjunction with Smokebrush Gallery & Foundation and the Independent — sponsored a label design contest for its Smokebrush Porter. The winner was Jeremy Grant, who received $250, a case of the porter and a half-page advertisement in our upcoming "Drink" special issue.

  • Apparently, the "brush" part will be a non-issue.

And some non-winning runner-ups, but still very cool nonetheless:

  • BRYCE CRAWFORD
  • A little paint, a little P.F. Chang's, all Smokebrush.

  • So where do all signs point, again?

And as for this last one, you'll never convince me that this isn't the soul of Michael Jackson supporting local arts in beer-label form.

Hes back baby!
  • BRYCE CRAWFORD
  • He's back, baby!
