Nonprofits Divide's furry mayor

What if Fido or Felix were mayor? So they might only be figureheads, but that honestly doesn't sound like a bad idea. Especially since this election means raising money for Divide's Teller County Regional Animal Shelter.
Each of the 25 candidates is a working animal, either living at or accompanying their "persons" to jobs at veterinary clinics, feed stores, sheriff's K-9 units and other businesses.
Anyone can vote Dogocrat or Republicat, as many times as they like, too. That should take the sting out of choosing between Rufus, a handsome tabby, and Sancho, a wiry terrier. Votes are $1 apiece, but rest assured it all goes toward TCRAS' brand new shelter.
