Dorchester garden approved

Posted by on Fri, Feb 12, 2010 at 6:10 PM

A community garden planned for crime-ridden Dorchester Park has been approved by the parks board.

Starting in spring, the garden will be tended by the homeless and poor. All the produce will go to feed the hungry. Agencies involved in creating the garden are excited to start building the fence that will surround the little plot.

To read more about the garden, read "One Good Turnip" from this week's Indy.
