From Crystola to Vancouver, Corb Lund plays on

It's not all about events and medals here in Vancouver. With tens of thousands filling the streets every night, there's an audience for every available setting, including free entertainment in the downtown area known as Yaletown.

And for the 9:30 p.m. show Wednesday night, the headliner is none other than Corb Lund, the Canadian country singer who made a stop in the Colorado Springs area a little more than a year ago.

In fact, Lund and his group, the Hurtin' Albertans, played a lively evening show in January 2009 at the Crystola Inn just east of Woodland Park on U.S. Highway 24. They were good that night, but they'll have a lot larger crowd Wednesday night just a few blocks from the B.C. Place and adjacent Canada Hockey Center.

Then, on Friday, Lund and his band will take their act up to Whistler for another free outdoor show.

After this exposure, he might not be coming back to Crystola again.
