Redstone: License revoked

Posted By on Wed, Feb 17, 2010 at 5:14 PM

The Redstone Room has been through more face lifts than Michael Jackson (what, too soon?), and its most recent "change" is a head-scratcher. Roughly 10 days ago, the bar's liquor license was revoked for ... actually, let's let employee Jason Canitz explain.

As quoted during a telephone conversation this afternoon:

One of the owners ... all he had to do was come down here when the liquor board came to inspect the place. But apparently he had something better to do, so our license got pulled for 30 days. But we’ve met all their conditions and there’s a hearing tomorrow or Friday night, so we should have it back then.
