If you don't have plans yet for Saturday night and don't mind drinking (a good amount) for a good cause, consider attending the Tejon Pub Crawl to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
The action starts at Phantom Canyon at 5 p.m. and continues along Tejon Street bars, featuring free and reduced-price food and drinks for participants and raffle prizes.
Tickets can be bought in advance online ($20 minimum donation) or purchased at the door.
Here's some more info on the benefit from organizer Jennifer Nissing:
I'm training for a marathon with an organization called "team in training". They work with individuals interested in completing endurance events, in exchange for the participants raising money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. The motto is "Race for the Cure". I promised to raise $3800 for the cause. I thought it would be fun to do a "crawl for the cure" ... We expect it to be a pretty awesome event, for a pretty worthy cause.
