If you’re the sort who’s fascinated by those Japanese concept cars that can be transformed into living rooms, then you have to check out Gary Chang’s fantastic transformer apartment.

An extremely compact 330-square-foot abode, it can be converted into one of 24 different room combinations in a matter of seconds.

Chang lives in Hong Kong, a city whose booming population (which increased nearly a half-million over the last decade) has led to a radically increased demand for housing.

But while Japan is famous for its space-saving, coffin-shaped, capsule hotel rooms, there’s nothing claustrophobic about Chang’s abode.
