What in the corporate cheese-loving hell does this mean?
I'll tell you. (Yeah! High-five again!)
Now through April 11, cheeseheads and non cheeseheads alike can vote here for their favorite city.
If Colorado Springs wins, residents will receive a concert in their hometown featuring a performance by "hot new country band" Love And Theft and ABC soap stars from All My Children, General Hospital and One Life to Live.
Wow! Just how did we earn this honor and potential show of a lifetime?
It turns out, someone unnamed by KRAFT's press release submitted the following pun-crazed entry on behalf of our fine town. (You might want to bring a trashcan nearer to your desk prior to reading.)
In this vast "WORLD WIDE OPEN" you "CAN'T GO BACK" to your hometown until you "SLOWDOWN" and "RUNAWAY" to visit our beautiful city of Colorado Springs. With our ever-changing aspens, clear blue skies, red rocks of the Garden of the Gods and snow capped mountains of Pikes Peak. Our city is filled with history, culture and diversity. We acknowledge our men and women of the military bases stationed here who have lost loved ones in the battle for "FREEDOM" and look to the hopes and dreams of our future Olympians from the Olympic training center and Broadmoor, like our very own Rachael Flatt. Most of all, we're true THEFTHEADS and SOAPFANATICS. So if you only have "ONE LIFE TO LIVE" and want to bring "ALL MY CHILDREN" to our city, the excitement could send us to "GENERAL HOSPITAL" to be revived by the sounds of LOVE AND THEFT! So.."DON'T WAKE ME" until we win. "IT'S UP TO YOU" to vote for Colorado Springs..A city of beauty, hopes and dreams. PS-We also have a lot of "KRAFT"-ERS & "SINGLES"!
Our tough competition: Three Lakes, Wis.; Augusta, Ga.; Bell Buckle, Tenn.; Richmond, Mich.; Hamburg, N.Y.; Girard, Ill.; Gastonia, N.C.; Lexington, Ky.; and Twinsburg, Ohio.
At the moment, Three Lakes, Wis. is in the lead with 1337 votes to our 423. Lexington, Ky.'s famous horses need to get a move on, currently in last place with only 88.
Thank you Bob.
