This story in the Denver Post Thursday struck a chord with me.
I was working at the Casper Star-Tribune when Ben Bradley, a snowboarder from from Winter Park, went missing in June 2006 while hitchhiking in western Wyoming. I wrote updates during the long search for him, and remember the grisly discovery of his body four months later near the city of Rock Springs.
Now the Post reports that authorities have arrested one of three suspects in what appears to have been a senseless killing.
I don't know what solace there can be for the families of victims in cases like this, but I hope these developments provide at least some measure of comfort.
