Bennet goes big in campaign spending

Posted by on Tue, Apr 20, 2010 at 9:16 AM

Coloradopols.com notes that U.S. Sen. Michael Bennet is among the top spenders in Congress at this point in the 2010 election cycle, having burned through $1.31 million in the first quarter.

Of course, he just reported that he raised $1.4 million in the same period, but it's worth noting that his first TV ads only hit the air in mid-March.

Local television networks must be looking forward to some good months ahead.
