Taster's Guild kind to Holy Cross again

Following up on April's news, in which The Winery at Holy Cross Abbey won a double gold and six silver medals at the Jerry Mead International New World Wine Competition: We received word today that the Abbey was just awarded 11 medals at the 23rd annual Taster's Guild International Wine Competition.

The 2006 Merlot Reserve is a former Tasters Guild winner.

Our local winery earned three golds, seven silvers and a bronze, out of 2,200 wines from 10 countries and 32 states.

Gold:
2008 Colorado Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve
2008 Colorado Cabernet Franc
2008 Monterey Chardonnay

Silver:
2008 Colorado Merlot
2008 Colorado Merlot Reserve
2008 Colorado Merlot Divinity
2007 Colorado Cabernet Sauvignon
Colorado Nouveau
Vineyard Sunset
American Riesling

Bronze:
2009 Sauvignon Blanc Reserve
