Local News City laying some pipe

Expect delays and closures on Tejon Street and Las Vegas Street as the city lays about 1,500 feet of storm sewer pipe.
Construction will start on Monday, June 7, and will take about 90 days. Westbound traffic on Las Vegas will be shut down during the process, with detours in place. Traffic lanes on Tejon will be shifted several weeks into the work. The date of the shift has not yet been announced.
The pipes will be funded using Community Block grant funds.
