Maybe, like me, you've spent 40 minutes navigating your way through Ticketmaster's baroque website, only to find an additional service charge added each step away. And then, when you finally reach the end of the process, you realize that, for the privilege of printing out two tickets at home, you've nearly paid the corporate monolith the price of a third ticket. Which is why one of my colleagues recently got up at 6 in the morning, drove to Denver and lined up at the box office for Dead Weather tickets.

So we have to hand it to another corporate monolith, Live Nation, for announcing a new promotion as part of its "No Service Fee June" campaign. Every day from now through the end of the month, the company will announce a show to which you can buy tickets for $10 per human.

You can go here to find out each day's newly designated artist. Today's $10 tickets are for the Jonas Brothers on September 11th, which sounds like kind of a weird way to commemorate 9/11, but hey, you might like that. In any case, there's still another eight days left in the promotion, so you might want to keep checking the site if there's something coming up at the venue you really want to see.

Meanwhile, here's a little something to get you in the mood:
