Breaking News No charges in Fountain dustup

Fountain City Councilman Harold Thompson won't be charged with striking Al Lender, the District Attorney's Office in Canon City which is serving as special prosecutor has decided.
Investigators read police reports and viewed video, but two eyewitnesses within feet of the altercation — Mayor Jeri Howells and John Fay — say they weren't interviewed by the DA's office conducting the investigation.
