Local teens participating in the Fine Arts Center's Youth Repertory Theatre will put on two professionally-produced shows this weekend as part of the new FAC Theatre School (F.A.C.T.S.). The five-week program also has workshops for ages 5-13 and is the only professional youth theater training program in the Pikes Peak Region.

“We have pooled our time and resources to fuel all three workshops,” says Alan Osburn, FAC Director of Performing Arts, in a press release. “This is a unique program. Kids ages 5-18 get to act, build, paint, sew and hang lights: all taught by theater professionals.”

Instead of staging two single-feature performances, this year the YRT will present two medley shows.
