Just over a year ago, folk duo Stacey Earle and Mark Stewart passed through Colorado Springs for a concert at High Plains Unitarian Universalist Church. (See "Like June and Johnny," May 14, 2009.)
The pair is back again, this time for a concert under the stars at 7 p.m., Saturday, July 24, at Venetucci Farm, 5210 S. U.S. Hwy. 85. A cool venue, for sure, but small — farm staff member Susan Gordon says they only have 50 seats available on their outdoor covered deck. And due to the space issues, the $15 tickets must be purchased in advance.
You can pick up your tickets at the farm's booth at the Colorado Farm and Art Market at America the Beautiful Park from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, or call Susan directly at 391-8102.
