Explore wine at the Craftwood

Posted By on Wed, Jul 21, 2010 at 1:56 PM

This one's for the wine connoisseurs: In case you haven't heard already, Craftwood Inn has launched its Reserva Wine Club.

As a member, you can get in on exclusive bulk wine purchases at retail (versus restaurant) prices and store your wine in Craftwood's cellar, to be consumed during future visits. More appealing for those who might not want to commit to buying bottles at this time: The outfit offers weekly Thursday tasting classes from 5:30 to 7 p.m. with sommelier Chris Davis. For $20, you get to taste four wines paired with small plates designed by chef Ben Hoffer.

Here's a look at this Thursday's wine lineup:

Craftwood Inn marketing director Jessie Estes says the club thus far has roughly 250 members, with around 15 to 25 showing up per week for the tastings.
