The KushCon cometh

OK, not that soon.

Actually it's not soon at all — it's in December. In any case, the second incarnation of the event billed as "the largest cannabis convention in the United States" will be throwing down (oh yeah) at the Colorado Convention Center from Dec. 17-19.

KushCon II comes courtesy of — as you might imagine — Kush Magazine, and

Tickets go on sale Sept. 1, though you can reserve a booth right now for anywhere from $1,250 to $5,500.

Check out the video below for your daily dose of high-energy "youth music," a recap of the inaugural event — featuring the inestimable Cypress Hill — and this statement from Kush CEO Robert Selan:

"This is really a, for lack of a better term, a trade association for the medical marijuana industry, and we had everyone here: lawyers for the movement, politicians, doctors, obviously vendors of all types. And really bringing all these people together in one facility at one time hasn't really been done before."
