N-8 vigil planned for Saturday

From the listings desk: The Pikes Peak Justice and Peace Commission, with the Sisters' Witness Against War and Citizens for Peace in Space will host a Vigil @ N-8 at 12:30 p.m. this Saturday.

The vigil will take place in Weld County's Minuteman III Nuclear missile silo N-8, one of the 49 sites in the state on alert and armed with a nuclear weapon, according to the group's information.

Anyone interested can RSVP and meet at the PPJPC (332 W. Bijou St. #106) at 9 a.m. on Saturday for a carpool up to the site. Contact Bill Sulzman at 389-0644 or bsulzman@juno.com for information and to RSVP.
