Politics Hiroshima mon amour

In commemoration of the 65th anniversary of the bombing of Hiroshima, here's an animated map by Japanese artist Isao Hashimoto that visualizes the 2,053 nuclear explosions that have taken place between 1945 and 1998. Like a zen video game with no winner, it's unsettling but eye-opening. Watch it here.
