Medical Marijuana / Marijuana Tag-team MMJ debate tomorrow

At 7 p.m. tomorrow at the Penrose Library, District Attorney Dan May and state Rep. Mark Waller will discuss medical marijuana with City Councilors Tom Gallagher and Sean Paige.
The debate will be televised on Channel 5, and broadcast on KVOR 740 AM.
Previous arrangements had a surrogate going in the DA's place. May has made his anti-MMC stance clear in the past, as has Rep. Waller, who previously told the Indy, "I think at this point in time I would have to vote to ban dispensaries."
On the other side are Gallagher and Paige, who have been strong proponents of the MMJ industry. They helped organize the original task force and provided key Council votes down the stretch toward center licensing.
