Army civilian police officers shot and injured a soldier on Fort Carson about 12:20 p.m. today after receiving a 911 phone call from someone saying the soldier was "acting erratically," Fort Carson spokeswoman Brandy Gill says.
The soldier made "what was perceived as a threatening move" toward officers, so they shot him, she said.
Gill wouldn't say what part of the soldier's body took the bullet. He was taken to Memorial Hospital where he's listed in stable condition. Gill says an investigation is underway.
