For those of you who have been following along for a few years, you'll remember this story I wrote back in 2007 on a "mysterious Eighth Street storefront." A place that offered "top-notch labels at knock-off prices."
Last year the same shop opened at a different location off Uintah Street.
And, now ... it's back again. In yet one more new spot, 409 N. Tejon St., former home of Conservation Hardware.
I received a card in the mail today from Rachel T. Wescott & Assoc., Inc., local estate sale specialists, which reads:
It's that time again
Girls just want to have fun sale
50-75% off everything
Tuesdays thru Saturdays 10-6PM until sold
Brands include (but aren't limited to): Prada, Manolo Blahnik, Gucci, Chanel, Ferragamo, Dolce & Gabbana, Terra Verde, White House Black Market, Anthropologie and Elie Tahari. Products include clothing, jewelry, shoes, purses, belts and other accessories.
And even though the place looks closed — the windows are covered in paper — a call to Rachel Wescott confirms it's open.
If this is your kind of shopping dream, hop to it. Who knows when it'll come 'round again?
