Zahi Hawass coming to Denver

He's the most famous archaeologist in Egypt, and likely the world as well. Zahi Hawass, the authority on all ongoing discoveries in Egypt, will come to Denver on Dec. 2 to speak about some recent archaeological findings including those concerning the life and death of King Tutankhamun.

Hawass is visiting on behalf of the the King Tut exhibit now on display at the Denver Art Museum, a monumental blockbuster show featuring key items from Tut's tomb as well as a survey of ancient Egyptian art. You can read our review of the show here.

Hawass' lecture is $10 for DAM members and $20 for the general public; tickets go on sale for non-members Nov. 1. For more information, read here.
