According to a newsletter sent early this morning, TAPAteria now expects to open this Friday, Oct. 29.

Regular hours will be 11:30 a.m. to close Tuesdays through Saturdays, and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Sundays.

At Thursday night's March of Dimes Signature Chefs Auction, Pizzeria Rustica owner Dave Brackett was passing out copies of his new TAPAteria menu. We first told you about the new endeavor here back in August.

The sushi-style visual menu also serves as a placemat. No dish exceeds $8 ($4 looks like the average) and gluten-free and vegan-optional items are notated with symbols for ease.

Brackett is still hoping for an Oct. 26 opening, but he's at the mercy of a sometimes non-expeditious Pikes Peak Regional Building Department.
