UPDATE: California marijuana legalization in trouble

Multiple media outlets are reporting that even with just 20 percent of the votes in, it's clear that Prop 19 will fail.

Though only 10 percent of the votes are counted, it's not looking good for proponents of marijuana legalization in California. Proposition 19 is down nearly 150,000 votes already, trailing 56 to 44 percent.

Beyond just being interesting, that's of particular relevance in Colorado. As reported on the IndyBlog earlier this week, tomorrow, the Legalize 2012 campaign kicks off with an event in Boulder.
