UPDATE: Six to go

Posted By on Tue, Nov 2, 2010 at 9:25 PM

9:22 p.m.: On KRDO radio, County Commissioner Jim Bensberg just said four polling places have yet to report their results. In fact, they're not responding to phone calls, Bensberg says. And Bob Balink does not want to release the rest of the results — more than a hundred thousand votes — until votes from those four polling places come in.

The Indy's Pam Zubeck reports that at 8:44 p.m., El Paso County Clerk & Recorder Bob Balink sent out an e-mail explaining that the county is still waiting for the last six polling places to close. Once they're closed, he expects to report results from 108,000 mail ballots and 11,577 early votes.
