Be the first to see HP7

You don't have to slog through work Friday with only a few hours sleep.

Firstly, you could opt not to hit one of the midnight Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 showings tomorrow, and just wait until the weekend to catch the flick.

Of course, that would be no fun.

One other option that will set you back much more than a movie ticket ($45 as compared to about $9), but does include food, drinks, activities and a private 7 p.m. screening, is the Potter Party at Cinemark Carefree Circle. (Currently, fewer than half of 234 tickets remain on sale, so you may want to click on the above link right away.)

Check out our Holiday Film Preview in tomorrow's paper for the back story on that party, a review of HP7 and much more related to upcoming films.
