A Massachusetts-based company has opened a Colorado Springs office to try to land contracts serving NORAD, Northern Command and Air Force Space Command.
"Jobs are dependent on the success of bidding and winning new work," the company said in an e-mail to the Greater Colorado Springs Economic Development Corp. "S4 hopes to be at 10-15 or so employees by the end of the year."
The website reported S4 was ranked as one of the 100 fastest-growing private companies in the Boston Metro Region by Inc. Magazine.
“We are proud of our success and growth," Chandu Shah, President and CEO of S4 Inc., is quoted as saying. “The selection of Colorado Springs as our next new office aligns with our focus on areas where we can provide cost effective, innovative solutions to our customers in times of austere budgets. We have a history of providing outstanding service to other COCOM’s and are ready to do the same in Colorado Springs.”
The office at 1670 N. Newport Rd, Suite 350 in Colorado Springs is S4's 20th location in the U.S.
S4 Inc. will exhibit at a cyberspace symposium to be held next month at The Broadmoor, which will include participants from the Office of the Secretary of the Air Force, Strategic Command, Headquarters Air Force Space Command, Northern Command, and the Defense Information Systems Agency, the company said in a press release.
