According to multiple Facebook reports, the Rocket Room, or the building in which it was housed, will soon be resurrected as "Zodiac."

The first news appeared this morning via April Lavely, who wrote "It's Baaaaack! Southern Colorado's 'Burlesque Ladies Night Out!' A Class for us girls to socialize, bump, grind, shimmy and learn the basics of a bombshell! February 11th at Zodiac (formerly The Rocket Room) 230 Pueblo Avenue Colorado Springs, CO 80903. Only $10! Bring your heels and some friends!"

A quick internet search revealed the team behind the new venture, Fritz and Stone, LLC, aka Gentle Fritz, former Rocket Room bartendress, and one Christina Stone.

Mike Nipp, best known as the bass player from El Toro De La Muerte confirmed the rumor. "I have been in there swinging a hammer and painting, and it's looking really good," he tells me. "They've redone the floors and ceiling, it's pretty awesome!"

No word on the extent of the planned entertainment, but I have been assured it is a bar. Calls to the management have yet to be returned, but keep your eyes peeled for the latest updates!
