The victory puts CC in the semifinals today against top-seeded North Dakota, the regular-season champion, with a 6 p.m. faceoff Mountain time. The game will be carried live on FOX Sports Rocky Mountain (channel 35 on local cable, or 702 in high-def).
FSRM also will televise the other semifinal, with the University of Denver facing upstart Bemidji State, starting at 1 p.m.
Winners advance to the championship game Saturday night, with the league's Broadmoor Trophy on the line. Ironically, Colorado College never has won the trophy that was donated by the local hotel/resort.
