As promised in this week's Reverb column, the Pikes Peak Arts Council Award-winning ReMINDers— AKA Samir Zamundu and Aja Black — celebrated Record Store Day in style Saturday with an in-store performance at the Platte Avenue Independent Records.
In addition to songs from their debut album, Recollect, the duo debuted some new material and closed with a "Happy Birthday" singalong in honor of Samir's 25th.
By the way, if it's still Saturday as you read this, you can probably still pick up a few Record Store Day special releases. Personally, I managed to resist the 5-LP Flaming Lips boxset and the Rhymesayers hip-hop compilation, but you might not.
