A gathering of secrets

Posted By on Mon, Apr 25, 2011 at 4:49 PM

From the listings desk: If there's one book that never fails to suck me in completely, it's any of the PostSecret volumes.

For those of you who don't get out much, PostSecret was developed by Frank Warren, an author who asked people to send him an anonymous postcard with their secrets written on it as part of a community art project. Since 2004, Warren has received more than 500,000 postcards and has published four books of secrets, staged art shows and toured the country speaking.

Now that everyone's up to speed, hear this: Foothills Art Center in Golden will host a PostSecret show starting April 29 and running through June 26. Warren will give a lecture and a book signing Saturday, May 21 at 1 p.m. (Tickets are $10 to $15.)
