Hours for El Paso County Public Health changes this week from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday to 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
However, this Friday, May 6, the department will be closed for staff training.
The department will be moving this fall from its current location on South Union Boulevard to the new Citizens Service Center on Garden of the Gods Road.
The new hours began on April 4, the department previously announced.
"We’re making this change as part of our agency’s preparations of moving to a new facility. Our agency’s move date is uncertain, so we needed to pick a date to implement new hours of operation since our clinics schedule appointments three to four months in advance," Kandi Buckland, EPC Public Health executive director.
