Bruce Jenner, Jeremy Bloom coming to Pueblo

From the listings desk: Colorado State University - Pueblo has announced its lineup for its Fall Distinguished Speakers Series, which has in the past hosted the likes of Danny Glover, Meghan McCain, Ray Nagin, John Quiñones and Sherman Alexie.

CSU-P only has four speakers on the docket this time, with a heavy emphasis on sports and entertainment.

Bruce Jenner, Aug. 17

World-class athlete and Olympic decathlon champion, now a player in the reality TV pantheon as part of Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

Jeremy Bloom, Sept. 7

Another champion athlete (and Colorado native) who garnered awards as a skier and acclaim as a professional football player for the Philadelphia Eagles and the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Edward James Olmos, Sept. 20

Actor and activist, and named the country's most influential Hispanic-American by Hispanic Magazine. Olmos appeared in the film Selena, on TV in Battlestar Gallactica and directed a movie for HBO.

Steve Dealph, Nov. 9

Works for Warner Bros. Entertainment in organization development. Before that, Dealph spent 20 years in education, helping universities support student life and organizations.
