We first met the Colorado Springs Organic Men when columnist Rich Tosches came this close to painting his testicles to look like Easter eggs at the group's nude yoga session.
"The festival's goal is to showcase the male body in it's magnificence in various forms and venues," reads the festival's website. "Although male sexuality may be touched on or visible in some venues this event is not about displaying pornography nor is it about sex, it's about men and the brilliance of what it is to be a man. Come celebrate the splendor of men with us!"
So for five bucks, from 6 p.m. to midnight this Saturday, enthusiasts of all dress codes and any gender (18-plus only) will find art galleries; nude-themed art being created live; and a whole floor of "lectures, music, performance art or any other creative way we can display appreciation for the masculine body" at the Movement Arts Community Studio.
Like any good festival, there will also be a king crowned — the "naked man of the year." You've got to strip down and show it all to the crowd, of course, but what kind of barrier is that at an event like this?
