UPDATE: Carmichael and USA Pro Cycling Challenge get nod from City

The rosters for the USA Pro Cycling Challenge are now available. Check out this Denver Post article to see the tentative list of teams and teammates.

We've got lots of coverage ahead for you in this week's upcoming Indy on the USA Pro Cycling Challenge, whose prologue will take place in the Springs on Monday, Aug. 22.

Ahead of that, the City Council awarded co-organizers Chris Carmichael and USA Pro Cycling Challenge CEO Brian Farris an official resolution of support at today's council meeting.

The noted coach of Lance Armstrong, Chris Carmichael (with microphone) thanks the City of Colorado Springs and says a few words about how much tourism and media the prologue will drive.

Race organizers are saying that the overall contingent could be the largest spectator event in Colorado history, as well as one of the largest sporting events to be held inside the U.S.
