Qigong master returns to the Springs

California-based Qigong master Mingtong Gu, who we spoke to ahead of a workshop here last October, is returning to the Springs to teach between Oct. 7 and 10.

The master returns ... Oct. 7 through 10.

Speaking as an attendee of last year's primary class sessions, who's continued to practice Qigong weekly since (I'd love to say daily, but that just isn't the case), I can personally recommend the workshop to those interested in a very gentle, meditative self-healing/balancing practice.

Obviously the crunchies and alternative energy types are an easy fit for Qigong, but I think some regular old folks would be surprised how accessible it is, like yoga, with a lot less physical movement, but plenty of mental exercise.

This year's events will largely take place at The Pinery.

There's also a teacher training class available, as well as a sound healing class. Registration info and more is available here.
