Not that this is applicable to you — unless you happen to be German and business-savvy — but there's a meeting of the German American Chamber of Commerce's local chapter coming up.
How do I know this? Because an e-mail landed in my inbox inviting me to a "Stammtisch."
In Germany, a Stammtisch is a regular meeting, or a table reserved for a regular meeting. A Stammtisch may be as casual as a guys' night at the bar, or as formal as, uh, a chamber meeting. I know this because I looked it up on the Internet.
So anyways, if you want to talk business over schnitzel — and really, who doesn't? — this is your big opportunity.
