Brent Beavers says Conscious Table, 636-FARM(3276), will begin cooking classes on Wednesday, Sept. 21, with a knife-skills class from 7 to 9 p.m. for $49.
Weekend dinners will follow with a launch at 5:30 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 29.
A full schedule of classes for September and October will be posted on the outfit's website in the next couple days, says Beavers.

An update on chef Brent Beavers' new venture, Conscious Table, which we told you about in Aug. 4's Side Dish:
Beavers called just a little while ago to say that he'd signed a lease on the former Bistro de Pinto space at 26 E. Kiowa St., which chef Mike Pinto and family vacated in mid-April.

Conscious Table could be open by as early as Sept. 15, says Beavers, after a bit of painting and redecorating; he's also working on the liquor license transfer.
Cooking classes will likely start as soon as the 18th, and weekend farm-to-table dinners may start around September's end.
