Arts Battle Portraits sneak peek Thursday

Last month, we covered local artist Laura BenAmots' Battle Portraits: Wounded Lions Wounded Lambs project, a collection of portraits and impressions of soldiers scarred by war.

On Thursday, at a reception and fundraiser for the project (which includes a large-scale group of paintings and a book to be published in January), BenAmots will display some of her works, as well as a preview copy of the book.
