The Broadmoor's hosting of the Keefer family will be featured tomorrow at 7 p.m. on ABC's Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.
The Keefers are from Etters, Pa., and stayed at The Broadmoor while the overhaul of their home was being done.
Here's how ABC describes the episode:
The team helps build a home for the family of a man who quit his job to take care of his paralyzed adult son.
Deb Acord in the Gazette's Media Buzz column reported that the show's main focus is Brian Keefer, who was paralyzed in a 2008 gymnastic accident. "This remodel will turn the Keefer’s [sic] family home into one of the most handicapped accessible houses ever made, with a separate entrance and space for Brian," she wrote.
She said the family enjoyed several area attractions during their Broadmoor stay, including a trip up Pikes Peak.
