Stephen E. Williams, a third-year cadet at the Air Force Academy and a manager for the Falcons football team, was killed Saturday morning in a one-car accident on AFA grounds.

The exact time and location of the crash were not disclosed.

Williams, from Pennsylvania, was a systems engineering management major, according to an AFA release that also said the cause of the accident is under investigation.

Brig. Gen. Richard Clark, the commandant of cadets, released a statement saying: “Our Air Force Academy family suffered a tragic loss over the weekend. “We ask everyone to please keep Stephen’s family, friends and wingmen in your thoughts and prayers.”
