Some interesting summer bookings are cropping up on the horizon in these parts, the latest of which include Jane's Addiction at the Pikes Peak Center on August 26 (read our interview here) and Cracker at the Silver Tongue Devil Saloon on September 2.

The new bookings join a summer schedule that includes Devotchka at Armstrong Hall on June 28, as well as a July 13 Pikes Peak Center appearance by the Family Stone, albeit without frontman Sly Stone and funk bass pioneer Larry Graham.

Then, down in Pueblo on August 29, none other than Merle Haggard will be playing the Colorado State Fair.

Personally, if I could only pick one, the combination of act and venue would make me lean toward Cracker at the Silver Tongue. But that's just me.

In the meanwhile, here are videos of all five, starting off with an odd promo for the current Family Stone lineup and a fairly stunning 2009 performance by Merle.
