It's that time of year again, and we're gearing up for our annual Fall Arts Preview. It's a guide of sorts to the visual, performing, literary and film arts happening between September and the end of the year, and also takes a look at trends and other news.
But it's hard to glean all that from our desks, so please, clue us in to what's happening out there. Be it an art show, a dance collective, or some guy by the side of the road making instruments (insert your own cultural romantic notion), we want to know. Here's how:
We're inviting listings submissions for exhibits, shows, etc. that run between Sept. 5 (the publication date of the issue) and the end of the year. If a show begins earlier than Sept. 5 but runs well into the fall, that is fine. If a show will hang through Dec. 31 or later, that is also fine, as long as the opening is between the above dates.
1) Gallery/Venue name, address, phone # and website
2) Exhibit/show title, brief description and dates for opening and complete run
3) Hi-res images please (preferably at least 400 KB, 300 dpi; this is a great way to get even more exposure)
The earlier the better. No guarantees past Aug. 8.
