Extra-large congrats to Big Jim Adam for winning Telluride's 2012 Acoustic Blues Competition.
In addition to first-place prizes that include a Dobrato Resophonic Vibrato Guitar valued at $1200, the Colorado Springs bluesman was awarded a prime-time slot on the Telluride Blues & Brews Festival's main stage this past Saturday, performing for thousands in between sets by Anders Osborne and Trombone Shorty.
As for what's next, Big Jim and cohort John Stilwagen will return to their usual relentless gigging, as evidenced by the schedule of upcoming Colorado dates below.
You can catch them tomorrow night when they'll be joined Bill Snyder from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. as they close out the summer concert season at Hillside Gardens.
More circus act behavior from third-rate grifters elected by third-rate voters.
