Council to learn more about the budget ... and you can, too

Thursday and Friday of this week, Colorado Springs City Council will be treated to presentations from representatives of major city departments and divisions, detailing changes in the next year's proposed budget.

The presentations give Councilors a better understanding of what has been cut and added by the mayor, and help them to make decisions about what changes to make to the document.

The presentations, which are open to the public, will take place from 1 to 5 p.m. on both days. Here's more info:
