In this week's Side Dish column, I mention soon-to-open coffee cafe Mission Coffee Roasters 's plans to work with local nonprofits and artists on custom-label coffee bags.
One of those projects will be called the Colorado Artist Blend, and here's a look at what that program looked like at Mission's former Baltimore, Md., shop, High Ground.
Colorado Springs-area artists are encouraged to contact Mission owner Brett Bixler if they're interested in promoting their work on future Mission bags. And here's a sneak peek at one of the first local nonprofits' labels that Mission has already had designed, for UpaDowna, which is co-run by Indy beer writer Steve Hitchcock:
